Thanks for creating this map! I enjoyed a nice hike here last weekend and used the orange trail. Any idea why it isn’t featured on the PKP brochure map?

    • Ed says:

      Hi Diana,
The orange trail is pretty important to get left off the brochure map. Just an oversight I guess. Thanks for the thanks!

Thanks for taking the efforts to post the map; I frequent Plotterskill often and never had an idea that there was much more to explore. :) I have only been to the left part on the map from the Coplon Rd trailhead coz I always thought that’s all there is.

The orange trail is not on the map because part of it (above the landslide) crosses private property outside of the county preserve.

    • Ed says:

You’re right K Dub. I don’t think it trespasses by much, but it does. I’m not sure that I’ve drawn it correctly but it’s something like that.

Your map is better than the official brochure. Thanks for your efforts. Is it available to purchase in a larger size for us old guys?

    • Ed says:

Hi Kevin, good idea. I’ve put a link to a pdf of the map in the caption above. You should be able to print from that, a two-page map with some overlap, pretty big.
